Vet Cardiologist is run by Mark Patteson, an RCVS recognised specialist with over 35 years of experience in cardiology referrals. We want to deliver practical solutions for owners and believe that this means liaising closely with referring vets.
We don’t repeat every test. Tests have a cost and Mark’s experience helps to ensure that funds are spent wisely. The key issue is the outcome for the patient. We strive to allow animals to have a good quality of life. In some cases, we postpone the onset of problems. In other cases, we are just putting owners’ minds at rest when a disease is actually mild.

If you are an owner and are concerned about your pet or your horse, please speak to your vet about making a referral. (It is a professional obligation and RCVS guidance for animals to be referred to us by your vet rather than for us just to give you an appointment, with the exception of breed screening. VetCardiologist provides regular cardiology referral clinics at Focus referrals, Banbury, MBG Vets, Droitwich, Hilltop Vets, Oxford, Donnington Grove Vets, Tadley.
We also offer in-house clinics at veterinary practices by arrangement and a mobile cardiology service for visiting horses.
